Citizen asserted its domain in Russia

On June, 15 the Arbitration tribunal of Moscow satisfied a claim of New K Ltd. Company against Natalia Dubinina who is the only member and director-general of Klyopa LLC. New K Ltd. Company is a right holder of the international Citizen K. trademark and Kommersant publishing house represents its interests in Russia.

According to the information given by the legal department of Kommersant publishing house to MediaAtlas, the Arbitration tribunal of Moscow issued a decree to prohibit Natalya Dubinina who is the administrator of domains: www.citizen-k.ru and www.citizenk.ru, to use Citizen K trademark that is mentioned in the domain names and exact compensation from her in favor of New K Ltd company because of illegal use of the trademark in amount RUB 30,000.  The decree will come into effect in a month, if it is not appealed by the defendant.
